So, I got a full-time job. After 402 rejections, it finally happened. It’s been a challenging couple of years post-layoff. I’ve poured everything into starting my own businesses—furniture flipping @sandiegofurnitureflipper and hosting The Career Flipper podcast—but they’re just not bringing in enough to sustain me full-time… yet.

I’ll be honest, there’s some shame in this. I wanted so badly to make it work on my own. [...] But the time I spent hitting rock bottom and rebuilding wasn’t wasted—it completely shifted my mindset. That version of me who worked herself into the ground climbing the corporate ladder? She’s not coming back. And that I want to celebrate.

I may be returning to the workforce, but I’m walking in as a whole new person: stronger, wiser, and upgraded in ways I didn’t know were possible. [...] I just want a job that funds my dreams, gives me the flexibility to grow my businesses, and supports the life I’m building. So, I took an entry-level position. And you know what? I feel really good about it.

I keep hearing a voice that says: It’s okay to do what you need to keep moving forward. Rock bottom isn’t the end—it’s the foundation you rebuild on.

This isn’t the life I envisioned, but it’s a step toward the one I’m creating. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.

Hi! I woke up at 3:30am, joined The Upgrade, and started binge-watching and working through the worksheets. I tried to launch a coaching/astrology biz in 2022 but ended up going back to work. [...] In the past few weeks, I’ve been recording voice notes to gain clarity.

Today, I got a clear download for my mission statement and who I want to serve—focusing on coaching/personal development, not astrology. I also got an idea for my first post and plan to make a reel in the next few days. I’m starting from what feels like nothing—my followers are mostly people I know.

This morning I felt high on myself—like a bad bitch—but then the afternoon slump hit. I got overwhelmed by the business side (def not my zone of genius). I love the creative stuff—content, editing, design—but I get there’s more to biz than that. [...]

I’ve been through hell and back—fucked up childhood, divorced a narc, single parenting two kids, working full-time, in recovery since 2016, ADHD, PMDD, insomnia, and more. But all of it is fuel for my content.

The first entrepreneurial container I joined was in 2018, and I’ve never fully launched—until now. Now is the time. I still hear the doubts, but I’m ready to build momentum and do this for real this time.

Thank you @Margot Miller and everyone here! [...] I recently let myself dance at a San Holo concert. I was anxious about being in a crowd again (I’m 38 and haven’t danced like that since my 20s), but when I walked in, someone came up and said, “I’ve been following your YouTube channel and doing all the prayers... thank you for embodying so much light.” Then he did a prayer hands and walked away!

It was a sign: I’m not too old to dance, to be seen, or to be free. Me showing up is part of being a Chosen One—even at concerts.
I’m re-integrating, socializing, dressing how I want. #notyouraveragepriestess

Hi y’all! I’m new to the community—only four days in—but I’ve already had incredible insights around my co-dependent patterns and dysfunctional family roles. I’ve been falling asleep to the Millionaire Mindset meditation, and as a result, I’m having major downloads around the business I want to launch this year.

This morning I journaled using the Wild Free Expression Prompts and have been crying on and off all day. I’m not a big cryer—I spent much of my teens choking down tears to appear stable—but the amount of loud-sob-ugly-crying I did today feels unprecedented. [...]

I think I’m grieving. I’m feeling such a fast but potent shift in my identity that it feels like I’m grieving my survival self. [...] I know it’s all for my quantum leap, but I feel stuck between my 3D and 5D realities.

I'm binging through the videos since signing up last night and I must say... every single thing resonates AF.

I’ve been in and out of AA for almost a decade, and this time around I’m over 3 years sober—but AA just doesn’t do it for me anymore. How you summed it up, @Margot Miller, was SPOT ON. [...] I made fking amends to a narc/psychopath who literally abused me in every way. LIKE HOW.

This is a wild synchronicity—I'm currently in Spain and had committed to helping out at an AA convention, but it just hasn’t been resonating anymore. [...] It's so hard to deprogram that fear-based brainwashing of “if you leave the meetings you’ll relapse.”
I’ve been diving deep into Tony Robbins since last year, but you’ve literally sealed the deal for me. Thank you. You have NO idea how impactful your content and energy is to me. Truly.

I just did the first few resources in Phase 1 and it’s been so good to identify, looking back across time, the different roles and patterns I’ve used. I’m feeling really brave and proud of myself—looking at the work I’ve done over the past three years to undo those patterns, let go of what isn’t serving, and surrender to authenticity.

I really liked the family dynamic sheet. I pulled a couple action items I can use as next steps to live more unapologetically and authentically.

I identified that, although my parents may not need me to verbalize some things, I want me to. [...] I’m giving myself permission to move toward the highest vision for my life—without worrying whether my family will be proud of me. [...] Even if they aren’t, I need to follow my highest calling.

I had 2 WILLLD dreams after doing the healing meditation for witch wounds and listening to the Millionaire Mindset track overnight.

@Margot Miller—this might be TMI 👀🤣—but in one dream, I came to your clinic and you installed a draining tube connected to my womb. All this liquid came out, and you explained it was the “guck” energy that doesn’t belong to me.

I woke up at 1:30am and put on the Millionaire Mindset track. I could hear the affirmations in my dreams—but it wasn’t your voice at first, it was a friend’s. I remember thinking, “She doesn’t have a healthy money mindset… why am I trusting this voice?” Then I asked: Why not unapologetically trust?

I don’t know what it all means yet 😌 but something definitely shifted.

Okay! Hello everyone!!!

I’ve managed to shift so much in the last two months, which is amazing!!!! I was feeling so sorry for myself and frozen in my life—always able to help others, but not myself.

What I’ve learned is that we all go through difficult situations, and we can get stuck there for too long. In my case, it wasn’t just the situation—it was me giving away my power. [...] I’m not powerless anymore. I understand every time I make a choice, and it’s amazing knowing that.

Last night during the call, something clicked—I think I’m ready to detach from my current reality and step into my higher calling! How the fuck do I do that? Lol [...] I know this is what I need to work on more—sitting with the discomfort.

I signed up yesterday because I needed more clarity on my new business idea and to work through some blocks around showing up online. I just watched two past coaching sessions, and OMG—they helped me more than any other mentorship program I've tried. I paused the videos 15+ times to take notes and ended up with three full pages of ideas! I already feel so much clearer about who I want to help and how—and I haven’t even gotten to the content yet.
[...] I grew up in extreme poverty in a small town in Central Europe with a lot of abuse in my family. [...] I completed my bachelor’s degree on scholarship, worked full-time through my master’s, learned three foreign languages, and eventually built a thriving career.

At 30, I quit everything to backpack Latin America. Now, at 36, I live in Costa Rica by the ocean, run my own content marketing agency, and am building a second business to help others do the same.

So yes—it is possible to trick your mind into success, even if you can’t yet see the road ahead. Thank you for creating The Upgrade and making it so accessible.

After creating content online for the last few years around mental health, personal development, and neurodivergence, I was struggling to build a business around those topics. I've tried a few different things, but nothing ever felt "right"...

A few weeks ago I had a HUGE breakthrough. I realized my biggest transformation—and life mission—is really in dating and relationships.
At the beginning of this year, I fully locked in, refined my dating process, and met my soulmate in just 10 days on the apps. [...] This is the most incredible, aligned relationship I've ever been in. After years of dating narcs, breadcrumbers, and getting my heart broken, this feels like the biggest breath of fresh air.

Now I'm pivoting to teaching women my process so they can do the same. [...]
I'm celebrating the building and launch of my very first product!! I'm in the testing phase before beta, and would love feedback from you amazing ladies.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share some celebrations from the past 4 months since joining this course and breaking up with my narc bf that I lived with.

I started posting again more confidently and just putting myself out there like I did before dating him. [...] I got a new IDEAL client from the content I'm posting—she shows up to every call, sends workout videos for audits, takes notes, and puts in the work. I started working 1-1 with Margot and have been clearing blocks in my content and biz. I've gotten deeper with my ideal client and the “A to Z” of where they are and where they want to be.

I went from 0 to 3 unassisted pull-ups, 2 to 10 push-ups, and I’ve regulated my nervous system—no more panic attacks or spiking resting heart rates. I got my hair done, upgraded my look, started posting talking videos, and organized my content planning. [...] I still have so much I want to accomplish, but I’m celebrating my wins along the way. 😃

Hi everyone!!! I’m so happy to be here and loved seeing so many gorgeous faces on the call last week!

I’ve been pivoting my company. I’ve run a social media management business since 2021 and while I’m no longer taking on new clients, I’m prioritizing my long-term ones. I’ve tried so many things online to bring in income (Pinterest, digital downloads, etc.) with no success.

I toyed with the idea of becoming a “career matchmaker” for women seeking their ideal SMM or VA—and that evolved into something I’m really excited about: creating a space for content creators that provides a service-based offering. [...]

Goals:
– Build a solid email list
– Start with one space and expand to multiple cities
– Create income opportunities for other women and build a strong team
– Hit $15K+ months in the first 6 months
– Offer monthly memberships + online offerings (possibly a boutique!)
I truly want to build a BRAND.
